About Simmi's Table
My passion for cooking didn't just start yesterday. It began when I was just 7 or 8 years old. At the heart of it is deep gratitude for my beautiful mom who passed away 30 years ago. She wasn't just beautiful. She was an amazing cook who could turn simple ingredients into magic in just a few minutes. She knew how to bring food to life and put love on the table.
I want to give a big shout out to my mom, my inspiration, my guiding light. Love you, Ma. You are always in my heart. You taught me not just how to cook, but how to cook with love. You always said, "The main ingredient in cooking is how much love you put into it." Even with the simplest ingredients, food can be delicious when made with care and heart.
Today I feel very content as a person. The minute I step into the kitchen, half my stress melts away. I love cooking and experimenting with new dishes.
I want to serve my community the very best without compromising on quality. I want to bring smiles to people's faces through my food.
I'm so grateful to my husband Arvinder Anand who is always there to support me, and to my two wonderful sons, Harkirat Anand and Harsahej Anand-my strength and tight team, and lastly my lovely puppy Myla Anand.
It already feels like a dream taking shape. And I hope to be able to continue sharing my dream with you.
